Ortodoksi.net is web site made and administrated by private members of Finnish Orthodox Church. The official site of the Finnish Orthodox Church is available at ort.fi. Word “Ortodoksi” means Orthodox in Finnish language. The site is developed for all Orthodox believers and those who are interested about Orthodox Church. The site is in constant change and developing and our team appreciates all good suggestions for making it work better. You may also send us publishing material for the site. All rights for the material stay on its original developer.

Ortodoksi.net is currently mostly in Finnish. We’ll translate as much as possible for our voluntary team. At the moment we have following pages in English.

Virtual Church of St Nicholas – Flash animated interactive virtual church for use of religious education. Original Church is in town of Joensuu in Finland.

Orthodox Dictionary – Finnish-English-Russia-Swedish-Greek-Romania Dictionary for special words used in Orthodox Church.

The Mosaic Icon Workshop Petros - The workshop organizes mosaic courses of different durations in cooperation with the Christian Learning Centre and Valamo Lay Academy. The courses are led by the Muscovite mosaic artist Yurij Yarin.

Forum – Discussion forum for Orthodox subjects. Registration is currently in Finnish but interface is possible to switch in English. If You would like to open dialogue with members of the Finnish Orthodox Church, whom most speak excellent English, please, contact us to to get over the registration. We hope it’ll be easier later on.
